Ashley (Lindsay Lohan) is always lucky and Jake (Chris Pine) is always unlucky. This reverses at a party when they kiss. Ashley wants to kiss Jake again to regain her luck. However, Jake was masked, so she does not know what he looks like. She kisses all men who could be him, and tests whether it is the right one by scratching a gambling scratch card. After she gives up, they have a chance meeting. Jake feels sympathy for Ashley because he has been unlucky himself. After a while she realizes that she has kissed Jake, and regains her luck by kissing him again. Later, at a concert managed by Jake, where things go wrong due to Jake’s bad luck, she feels sorry for him and kisses him again, to transfer the luck. She would like a relationship with Jake, but thinks that would not work because they would kiss. She is about to leave New York. At Grand Central Station Jake shows up, he has found out about the kisses transferring luck and has followed her. He convinces her to stay, and says having her is worth not being lucky all the time.
Do you really want to know what I think? OK now, this is going to be short. The movie is filled with nice, warm, spine tingling cuts and scenes. Not to mention the nice songs they play and the nature of the whole story. It’s kind of kid stuff, no mature content at all. If you know what I mean. Just clean, feel good movie. Hey, can you imagine Mandy Moore doing the movie at all? I guess not. I can still picture Lindsay Lohan in it. So, does that mean she has the luck now? See for yourself and figure it out!
