Summary []:

Han Ji-eun lives alone in the house that she inherits from her parents. Her parents named the property ‘Full House.’ She has two close friends who end up selling the house behind her back to Lee Young-jae. Through a series of incidents, the two make a contract to marry, so that Ji-eun can stay in the house that her parents built. Although not in love with each other when they marry, a love between them develops slowly over time. The feelings of love are constantly interrupted by Gang Hye- won, Young-jae’s love interest for quite some time and by Yu Min-hyeok, a man that Han ji -eun likes.

I Say…

There’s no such thing as a perfect couple or perfect marriage. There are also down times even though married couples are contented with their married life. And here are two people, proving that there is no exception from that rule. Han Ji-eun and Lee Young Jae, bound by contract.

They’re not the ideal couple, but you’ll surely learn so much from them as their story deepens. There are a lot of “love lessons” to be learned as Ji-eun cries and Young Jae keeps denying his actual feelings for the woman who is just his wife by contract.

photo3417The whole thing was based on a manhwa, and we all know how these reading materials can shout out so many emotions. But sad to say there were also a lot of things about the manhwa that wasn’t adapted by the drama. The reason is simple, and it is to provide the viewers a different angle of the story. One more thing, if they were too faithful to the manhwa they’re not going to be able to give it an identity. Of course, apart from the fact that it will be too dynamic for a 16 episode series.

As for the cast, who could’ve predicted that Bi and Song Hye Gyo will blow the house down with their acting? Before Full House, both artists were seen on heavy dramas: Sangdoo for Bi and the famous Autumn in my Heart for Song Hye Gyo. Teaming up for Full House with a lighter and more comic theme just showcased their acting skills even more. I think that Song Hye Gyo makes a pretty good comedienne despite being the weakling she was on her famous drama. Same goes for Bi, who’s actually a serious actor. These two just complement each other. They have no doubt, created a pair no one in the face of Korean drama will forget.

No matter how many times I watch Full House I’ll never get tired of it. I will always laugh and cry for all the lessons learned from it.
